What's that saying... you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become your parents? Something like that. It's a cliche, but it's almost inevitable. When you're a kid, you can swear every which way that you're going to do things differently than your folks. It's an honest gesture, and you might even accomplish it some of the way. But then one day you'll find yourself thinking "Who turned up the AC? I'm not made of money." And you'll realize that your transformation is beginning to take shape.

This doesn't have to be a bad thing. Age usually comes with wisdom, so there's no shame in coming around to the other side. Sometimes your parents were right all along, you just need a minute to catch up. What follows is a list of just that-- Zoomers who suddenly realized they were sounding a lot like boomers. How about that for generational discourse?
